These days, as soon as a new cafe opens up, I feel like it’s a race between bloggers to see who can post about it first. Thankfully, I have an advantage with Bailey’s Cafe since one of my relatives is a co-owner, haha!
The cafe is located at Bathurst and Dundas and space is really reflective of the neighbourhood. The original architecture on the outside as well as the crown moulding on the ceiling were kept pretty much intact. Terra cotta pots warm up and add charm to their black chairs, white tables, and marble countertop!
If you’re wondering who Bailey is, he’s a dog and there are paintings of him hung up inside in the coffee shop. I love dogs so I loved this idea. The cafe serves your typical drinks like lattes, americanos, mochas, but they actually use organic coffee beans! They also reuse the bean bags in a really cute way; they make coffee sleeves out of them.
If you’re ever in the area, make sure to drop by for a cup of coffee and delicious sweets; the chocolate chip cookie is my fave!
